Learn & Travel
Travelling and international cultural exchange have always been one of the most edifying and profound ways of learning. We become aware of the world’s diversity and richness; we also gain conscience of our cultural patterns and personal identity construction. Global Studies Institute wants to help you experience some of the concepts, topics, and skills you have learned with live hands-on educational travel. Our short educational excursions will focus on visiting communities, reserves, parks, and places that will showcase many of the courses, contents, and interests that our Lifelong learners’ community enjoys.

Semester courses are 12 weeks long with either 48 contact hours for 3 credits/6 Ects or 60 contact hours for 4 credits/8 Ects. Classes meet twice a week for two hours. No visa required.
Summer courses are 8 weeks long, and meet 2 or 3 times weekly to complete contact hours. Heritage speakers or advanced-level Spanish proficient students may also register with local students in the intensive 3 weeks of July workshops.
Spanish language learning courses are intensive everyday classes for 60 contact hours in 6 weeks modules.
To register for courses with local students you must stay for a full 18-week semester, process a student visa, have a C1/advanced Spanish proficiency, and enroll in courses without prerequisites.
